    I could not find a normal site that wasn’t at that level. CNN.com, NYtimes.com, reddit.com, etc;

    A wikipedia entry on science did the trick. College level.

    I got post grad for mine, but I think that it was because of incomprehensibility, not because of being a smartypants.

    I have heard that simplicity is better. So, the way I see it, you are keeping it very basic. I got a high school level on the diary–must be some of the talk of my classes.
